MERRY CHRISTMAS 2010

Mom and Brax on Christmas morning

Our Stockings

Look at all those presents

We let Chloee do her stocking first

I think Brax was more interested in Chloee's stuff than Chloee was!

Chloee's presents

(Aunt Kathy asked us on Christmas eve if we were going to wrap any presents for Chloee to see if she would unwrap them. We hadn't thought about it but it sounded like a fun idea. Well we wrapped the big box of bones and lets just say that I ended up unwrapping it! Chloee could have cared less.)

We did Braxton's stocking first and it was filled with all of his favorite snacks (gold fish, puffs, yogurt bites and some soft foam sports balls). I Braxton with me over to the tree so he could help me open his presents but because we didn't feed him before we did presents he only had one thing on his mind......those snacks on the floor that came out of his stocking! He wouldn't stop looking at them and when he got a chance he would try and crawl away to them! I finally had to get a handful of his yogurt and set them in his lap so he would sit there and while I opened his presents!

Mom helped Brax open a couple and then dad took over for the rest!

Santa spoiled Braxton this year - but he was so hungry he didn't really seem to care!

As soon as we got his stuff opened it was Breakfast time! We gave him a nutri-grain bar (one of his most FAVORITE things). We didn't want to feed him to much because we were on our way to Grandma Hollies for Breakfast!

Nate's turn....

(Sorry about the picture quality. We used our video camera this year - trying to use that and the Camera at the same time was very interesting!)

The movie Inception in Blue-Ray format!

(I put it in his stocking as a surprise thinking he would see the Blue-Ray and get super excited, knowing that he was getting a player as well. Ya, he didn't even notice it was a Blue-Ray. All he said was "This will be good. I've been wanting to see this movie." I just played along.)

Nate Opening his BIG present

WHAT IS IT???

A BLUE-RAY player! Imagine that~
(I had to tell Nate that the movie was a Blue-Ray and had to tell him why I put it in his Stocking! We got a good laugh out of it~)

Nate and his presents

Kristin's turn......
(Nate did one at a time - vidoe camera then camera!)

Santa spoiled ALL of us BIG TIME this year

After we all finished opening our presents at home it was time to head to Grandma Hollie's and Grandpa Bryan's for presents and Breakfast! Grandma Gerrie, Grandpa Keith, Tana, Grandma Carolyn and Grandpa Rich were there for Breakfast as well! Grandma Nelson didn't make it - she wasn't feeling well. Breakfast consisted of pancakes, eggs, bacon and hash browns. It was delicious - Braxotn loved it as well!

Braxton's presents from Grandma Hollie and Grandpa Bryan

(He also got lots of clothes from Natasha and Logan)

Nate got a power washer and some other tools
and
I got lots of clothes, lotion, a Glee Christmas CD and a pretty necklace that Grandpa Keith made, from scratch!!

After Breakfast we hung out at Nate's parents for the rest of the morning

SNOW WHITE - aka "Brynnlee"

She had a REALLY HARD TIME keeping those BEAUTIFUL HEELS on

Braxton the BLUE MONSTER

We LOVED his hat so much that we left it on him ALL morning - he didn't seem to mind

Snow White LOVED riding on Braxton's Bulls eye

Our CHAMP with the Stairs

Braxton and Brynnlee enjoyed playing with Braxton's new Basketball hoop....

....or maybe it was just the balls!

What could be better than relaxing while playing with your new toys

AND

Watching a Basketball Game
At the same time?!?!

Snuggling with Dad and Brynnlee's new blanket

After finishing with Nate's partents we ran home to throw our neighbor gifts together (we were so BEHIND this year!). Then it was off to Grandma Donna's and Grandpa Jeff's for Christmas dinner and presents.

It's a .........

.....Dad with his new BBQ

(For some reason my parents and Nate kept telling me to open it and I finally gave in. I realized after I opened it that it was for Nate and I still had my own gifts to open. Oops - Sorry babe!)

Finally, by the end of the night, Braxton started to get the hang of this present opening thing

We decided to step away from my parents for a little bit and head over to the end of the Rosevear Christmas party

(We were all pretty tired and done for the day)

Ready to call it a night
Brax in his cute new PJ's

What a LONG day

*Having Braxton made Christmas extra special this year. We can't wait until next year when he will understand a little better what is going on (Santa, the whole present thing and how to open them, etc).

*We forgot to leave cookies out for Santa this year! Luckly Braxton had no idea and hopefully Santa will forgive us!
