Third Anniversary Picnic

3/13/11

This year our anniversary fell on Sunday and in the middle of Braxton's RSV so we decided to hang out as a family this year!

It was so nice today - sunny and warm and we decided to take advantage of the nice day. After getting out of church and stopping by to visit Grandma Hollie we stopped by a local elementary school, laid out our blanket and sat down for a picnic dinner! Of course by the time we got there it started to get chili and windy - total opposite of what it was earlier in the day! We decided to stick it out for a long enough to quickly eat and get a little ride in on the swings.

-MY HANDSOME BOYS-

Happy 3 years Babe! I can't believe how far we have come and how much we have accomplished in these last three years! My how it's flown by! I am so grateful for all that you do for me and our family. I can't wait to see what the years to come bring us! I LOVE YOU~

**We have a long weekend trip to Vegas planned for this next weekend! We are so excited to be able to get away for a little bit!**

Teething 101

3/22/11

Braxton had been really fussy this morning. His molars were coming in and it wasn't very fun! When I gave him a granola bar for breakfast he wouldn't eat it. Instead he held it in his mouth and gnawed on it until it all fell apart!

Apparently granola bars are good for teething comfort!

It's amazing how messy one can get from a single granola bar -

oh and this was only after eating half of it!

Trying to share a bite

"eat"

After his granola bar broke in half he got a little distracted with the little pieces stuck on his hand

He did eventually get back to sucking on the second half!

Pizza Picker

3/26/11

Braxton has always liked pizza

and eats it really well

but tonight he decided he wanted to pick everything off

and eat it all individually

(he mainly wanted the olives)

(sorry about the dark in the pictures. Nate hasn't used our new

camera very much and hasn't quite figured it out yet I guess!)

PB & J

3/29/11

Today, Braxton had his 1st

Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich!

Yes, he's eating it on the couch.

With Chloee being in the middle of Labor

Brax was 'grounded' from the kitchen so

I didn't really have anywhere else to put him.

Boy, does my boy LOVE him some

PB & J!!!

Peek - A - Boo

3/31/11

Braxton has always LOVED the game

Peek - a - Boo.

It became a whole new kind of FUN

when he learned how to do the

Peek -a- Booing!

I LOVE his so many ways of covering his eyes~

Peek - a ......

- BOO!!

Peek .....

-BOO!

Peek - a........

My Little Monkey

4/1/11

Braxton LOVES Bananas

The day he learned to hold it and eat it on his own

was a FUN day for everyone!

Start from Scratch

4/4/11

Look how cute they are!!

Because we started our garden so late last year and had to buy plants that had already been started at the Nursery, we decided this year that it would be fun to get a head start on our garden and start it from scratch as seedlings.

I guess we got a little to excited by starting to early! They were growing so well and more quickly than we had planned. By the first of May they were crowding each other out and were ready to make their way outside.

Thanks to Mother Nature and the last winter that we had, they unfortunately didn't make it very long outside on their own. We were very sad and decided that next year we need to try and keep down our excitement for a couple of more weeks before we start them from scratch!

We ended up digging out the from scratch plants and headed to the Nursery for some that had been started already!

Incredible Pizza Company

4/9/11

On Saturday night when I got off work we headed out to Draper to try out the new Incredible Pizza Company. We met up with Nick, Jaley and Mason hoping it would be a fun family night out with the boys and something they might actually enjoy!

Neither of us had been there before so we weren't really sure what we were getting ourselves into but boy did it end up being a FUN night!

We started off the night at their all you can eat pizza, pasta, soda, ice cream, and dessert pizza buffet. After we all ate way more than we should have it was time to check out the arcade area. We hit up some black light mini golf, played some arcade games (there were even a few the boys were able to play, with the help of their moms), found a little slide, Mary-go-round, and car ride that the boys LOVED and finished off the night in the prize center trying to find items our boys might like that weren't to much of a choking hazard and that we had enough tokens for!

I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we had a great time! The company was awesome, the food wasn't all that bad, the arcade area kept us busy for quite a while and gave us the chance to be kids again and most importantly, our boys had a blast and were exhausted by the end of the night!

Thanks for a fun Saturday night~

The kiddo's

(Braxton really his having a good time, promise!)

My SEXY wanna be waitress

The Lambert Indian Family

The Nuttall Indian Family

It took a second to get warmed up to it

and

get the hang of it.....

.......but once he did, he LOVED it!

The boys LOVED the Slide

We had quite the system going -

I would get them up to the top,

Nate would help them down,

then Nick or myself would catch at the bottom depending on who was going down.

Mason enjoying his ride down

Braxton giggling the whole way down

He quite enjoyed the Mary-go-round,

I on the other hand, got a little dizzy! What a wimp

Braxton on his own little "go-cart"

He wouldn't ever put his hands on the steering wheel. He always had one hand up on the dash and one hand on the top of the door!
