y-o-U

6/5/11

Braxton and I sent this Beautiful Thursday afternoon at Red Butte Gardens helping Grandma Hollie set up one of her weddings. It of course turned out BEAUTIFUL and Braxton was so good!

We got done setting up right before their ring ceremony started and a few hours before their reception started. Because Red Butte is so far away from our house I didn't really want to drive all the way home only to have to head all the way back up in a few hours for the reception.

It was about 5:00pm and Nate had a class at the U that started at 6:00. I gave him a call and he was actually headed up to school. I decided to take advantage of our time while we were up there and have dinner with him.

Brax and I ran to Del Taco and got some.....

Yep, you guessed it.... TACOS!

We then headed up to the U to meet with Nate.

It was really fun to be up there with him and to eat dinner with him on a night we normally don't get to.

Nate's class usually gets out early so I decided to just hang out on campus with Braxton while he went into class. That way when he was done we could go up to the reception together! I even brought clothes for all of us to change into after he got out of class.

Lets just say Nate's class went a little longer than he was thinking, he still got out a little early though. Thanks goodness it was nice outside and I had the camera in the car.

I again took advantage of the time we had and did a little photo shoot with Braxton.

Because it's a summer class in the evening the campus was very quiet which was good for Braxton. He LOVED being able to run around and check out the cool stuff.

One of the things I LOVE about these pictures are the colors he's wearing!~

-We spent most of our time at the bike racks-

-He LOVED finding things to step on-

-the stairs were nice to take a little break on-

-And then we found a Pine Cone-
He spent a good little bit throwing it and then running after it! He was in Heaven

Brax and I got to know the building as well as the area around it very well!

When we weren't going up and down stairs we were climbing through bike racks, walking across the grass, roaming up and down the halls inside the building (very quietly of course) and unfortunately toward the end I was doing most of the walking for both of us.

It ended up being a pretty random day but was so much fun.

~Great memories, Great company for dinner, Great exercise, Great Pictures~

Jump, Jump, Jump

Graduation Day 2011

6/3/11

What a busy day full of Graduations!!!

The first one was for JASON!!

He graduated from 6th grade and Elementary!

I can't believe it!

The theme this year was

HOLLYWOOD

They had all the 6th graders names written on a star on the

"WALK OF FAME"

They had it decorated with gold, silver, and black stars and balloons and lots of movie posters!

At the very beginning they, when they said the graduates name they walked out from behind the curtain stood in the star for a second and then walked down the red carpet to their seat. The teachers made a video slide show that also showed a picture of the graduate on the screen! All the lights were off except for the lights on the star. It was really neat!

Lucky for Brax, Grandma Donna was on the Graduation committee so he got to go home with some balloons!

-Jason with a couple of his friends-

-What a good lookin' kid-

I can't believe how tall he is!

Brax sure does love Uncle Jason

We all went to Chic-fil-a for lunch to celebrate his graduation.

Then it was time to head home to play with Mason!

Braxton LOVED the Balloons!

He carried them all over the house with him.

He LOVED playing peek-a-boo

in them!

Peek-a......

....-boo!!

There was NO way he was going to let Mason touch HIS Balloons!

I think this is the closest he ever got to them!

Brax trying to give Mason a Kiss

Trouble Makers

Can you believe their only 6 days apart?

Braxton's throwing face......

...... and his After it's been thrown face!

What a good friend!

Mason realizing he probably wouldn't get a turn riding.Forget this!

Braxton deciding he's done too

Next for the day

KORBIN'S HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION

at the

HUNTSMAN CENTER

Nate and I were really silly and we both forgot our phones.

In other words, we had no way of getting a hold of his family to meet them anywhere or find out where they were sitting!

We decided to go to the very far corner of where people were sitting and start looking. It was like playing a GIANT game of "Where's Waldo"! We were thinking about dividing the arena into sections and taking pictures of all of them and then looking through the pictures to see if we recognized any of them. Our next problem, I didn't bring the telescoping lens and the regular lens zoomed in all the way looked just like us looking on our own. I found who I thought was Grandpa Rich and tried to point him out to Nate!

That of course was near impossible so I took this picture and zoomed in on the picture with the camera!

It did end up being them! We couldn't believe it! Can you find them now? It's okay, I can't either. Their toward the top middle somewhere!

All this took place while the Graduates walked in. Good think it took a LONG TIME!

(Korbin is on the last row filled in all the way, 3rd in - Ethan is the 1st, on the outside)
Too bad about the Telescoping lens~
