- A Missionary Shower - for Korbin and Jordin
- Family Pictures - Hollie wanted to get some last family pictures taken before Korbin left (with or without Paityn) on Saturday the 28th
- An Ultrasound - with this pregnancy I was measuring just about where I should have been until I hit about 6 weeks - just to make sure everything was okay and my fluids weren't too low an ultrasound was scheduled on Wesnesday the 18th - everything looked fine both with babe and the fluid (except that they couldn't verify it was a girl!)
- An Over Night Scout Camp - Friday the 20th to Saturday the 21st (I kept praying that the baby wouldn't want to join our family this weekend!
- LOTS of tests - one week alone had three with one on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
- LOTS of Dr. appointments - I started seeing Dr. Kaelberer weekly starting on Friday the 13th!
- LAST of clinicals - Med Surg clinicals went right up until the day before Reading Day - Last Clinical means LAST CARE PLAN!!!! (for the semester that is!!)
- FIRST of finals - My first of the 3 finals was Med Surg on Monday the 30th
- A Farewell - Korbin had his Farewell on Sunday the 29th
- One Busy family - trying to work, go to school, have callings, be a wife/husband, parents and homemaker is a crazy lifestyle to have. I wouldn't really recommend it unless you are the praying type (we wouldn't have gotten through it with out the help of a loving Heavenly Father who kept me sane and helped me get through everyday, one day at a time) or have an amazing support system. We are lucky enough to have BOTH!
- One shuffled around little guy - thank heaven for amazing family and friends who were so helpful with Brax!
- One Messy house - it
kind ofreally was neglected and pushed to the bottom of the priority list - One exhausted mama

EASTER
The Saturday before Easter (April 6th) we went over to Grandma Hollies to color easter eggs. Nate was working doing areations so he missed out on all the fun! Brax didn't get a very good nap in before making the coloring process a little interesting. For the most part it went really well and I think he really enjoyed coloring them. He did have his moments though.
Moments where he only wanted the colors others were using and he was very posessive of the colors he finally agreed to use. Sometimes he would want to use the egg holders and other times he wouldn't. Sometimes he wanted stickers, other times he didn't. When someone would try and suggest a color for him to use, if it wasn't pink or purple you better think twice about suggesting it out loud!
Did I mention he definately has the terrible 2's DOWN!! He's good with the extremes -
Really Happy
or
Really NOT Happy
He is very much a people watcher
He is ALWAYS on HIGHT ALLERT to make sure that he isn't being left out of ANYTHING!!
Brody even did some coloring -
He got an egg with his name on it for the Easter Bunny to hide
Grandma Hollie got out the glitter for the eggs .............
It was a BIG HIT!
Braxton with his works of art
Braxton showing off his egg
(the one with this name on it)
We also made a special egg for mommy and daddy
Brynn and Korbin
He was such a good helper!
The kids anxiously awating their Easter surprise from Grandma Hollie
Brody wasn't very thrilled
The PEZ dispenser and candy was a hit with Brax and Brynn
They also got:
an outfit,
some eggs filled with play dough
and carrot shaped bubbles
We were sad that Gabe and Paisley weren't able to be there -
they had other family things going on that day.

his LOVE for chocolate.
He wouldn't let it out if his sight.
Outside For the Hunt
This was the first Easter Egg Hunt Braxton has done
It took him a minute to figure out what the point was
but after finding a couple of eggs
and being pointed in the general area they were located
he was in good shape
Off to Grandma Donna's
After Church we headed to Grandma Donna's and Grandpa Jeff's
Where he was on the hunt for plastic eggs that had been hidden.
He has his eyes set on the last egg!
Brax LOVED looking for the eggs
and because of the practice he had earlier that morning
he was a pro for this hunt.
He even wanted to do it again.
Grandma Donna and Grandpa Jeff
got Brax a lap top
and he was SO excited!
Because mom and dad are always working on the computer/laptop
for work and school Brax thinks he needs a turn too.
It will be so nice for him to have his own to play on~
We had Easter dinner and then were off to our next adventure
Tana's House
The Grand kids (Gabe is hiding behind Paisley)
Pretty soon Brax will have a younger sibling to hold too!!

He loved the sport ball eggs
Papa Bryan and Brody (4 1/2 months)

Nate had an over nighter with the scouts so Brax and I spent Saturday morning at the mall. South Town Mall has this really cool store that makes custom Vinyl stuff for your walls. They have a huge book of different fonts, different shapes and pictures and all sorts of colors! I went to have a saying made for baby girls wall. Because her nursery theme was moons and stars I wanted something to go along with night, dreams, stars or moons.
I had my choices narrowed down to 3
- Dream Big Little Girl
-Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Do You Know How Loved You Are
-We Love You To The Moon And Back
I was having the hardest time deciding so before we left for the mall I sent messages to mom, Sami, Hollie, Natasha and Trista asking their opinion
AND
Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Do You Know How Loved You Are
WAS THE WINNER!!!!!
Of course the mall's train parks right outside the store we were in until it has people to take for a ride.
Because he was such a good boy and partially due to a bribe I was planning on taking him on a train ride while we waited for the vinyl to print out (they said it would take about 20 minutes).
Well, of course I didn't have any cash on me and the credit card machine for buying train tickets was down! We went on a nice long walk through the entire mall trying to find an ATM.
In case you're wondering or ever need one it's in the food court.
After 10 minutes of walking around and looking and hearing nothing but "mommy, I want to ride the train" or something similar to those lines I was desperate. I spotted the ATM from what felt like miles away and realized it wasn't for Zions Bank. At this point I could have cared less and was more than willing to pay the withdrawal fee.
Keep in mind I was also 26 weeks along at this point!
I approached the ATM only to discover that it was "temporarily out of order"!!!!
Crap!!
What was I going to do now.
I promised my 2 year old with the memory of a genius a train ride!
Luckily he was buckled into his stroller or I think he would have taken off without me to that darn train!
As I walked around with him trying to kill time, distract him, explain that "sorry buddy, mommy doesn't have any money for the train" whenever he would ask and avoid the train
What happens to come chugging by with happy passengers ???????
You guessed it - That lovely train.
We hurried to the Vinyl store to pick up my order before the train came back to park. Luck was finally on my side as we left the store.
No train in sight.
Of course that didn't matter because my genius 2 year old remembered the train parked there at one point and immediately insisted riding the train again.
I was frantically looking around when I spotted it
THE CANDY BARREL!
I knew that store could save my bacon!
On our quick walk over there
(trying to miss the train)
I told Braxton I had a surprise for him.
That got his attention and made the candy store that much more exciting.
I told him he could pick out 2 treats!!
He was in HEAVEN!!
He picked a candy necklace (luckily dad wasn't there)
and one of those smarty sucker things.
The train had come back to park while we were in the store so we left as quick as we could and drew a lot of attention to the yummy treats Brax got!!!
He ate the necklace on the way home and was happy as a clam!
As I went to get him out of the car when we got home I found this.......
Who knew they could be so messy!
At least he fell asleep happy~
At one of our Sunday dinners with my family
Brax LOVES Rootbeer
and Sami was SO BRAVE to share with him
