Finals Week

You know it's finals week at our house because nothing gets done! Our house is a mess, we eat freezer meals more than normal and we are super sleepy! Finals week this semester was the first week of August. Because my class was a Friday class and the last day of the semester was a Thursday we ended a week early! My mom helped us out so much by watching Braxton for us on Fridays while I was at class. On Friday, July 30th after my final Braxton and I went to the Living Planet Aquarium with Grandma Donna and Jason and Lexi! It was pretty fun. I was actually pretty impressed - even Braxon liked some of it. While looking into the different aquariums if there were big colorful fish to catch Braxton's attention he would watch them swim back and forth across the glass. They have a lot of really cool things to see there.

The best thing about Finals week is when it's over and we can get our house clean and get back to our normal living!

Thanks again Grandma Donna for your help with Braxton while I was in class! I don't know what we would have done without your help!

GOTTA LOVE FINALS!!!!

Last Monday I had my last final and Nate had his last 3 out of 4 finals. He is crazy! I don't know how he worked full time, went to school full time and still was able to get as much done on the yard as he did plus all the homework that goes along with all those classes! He is amazing! As glad as I am that Spring Semester is over it just means he has more time for the yard! I'm sure you will all be as glad as I am when we get this darn yard done so you won't have to hear about it anymore!

For Christmas Nate's parents got us season tickets to Hale Center Theater. We ended up having a show that night after our finals! The show was Treasure Island and every one I talked to after wasn't real thrilled with it. I can't give my full honest opinion. Well, I guess I can but it wouldn't be fare. I can tell you the first half was pretty good but I fell asleep about 5 minutes into the second half and woke up off and on until the end!

It is going to be so nice to have a break, once we finish the yard, until next semester! I just hope the summer doesn't go to fast!

Our Love Story....

Nate and I met back in 2004 when I asked him to my shcool's Halloween Dance and I guess I impressed him a little more than I thought I would. We went through a lot during our dating years but we were somehow always able to get through everything and knew we always would. Nate Proposed to me on November 17, 2007 at the Roof Restraunt and I was shocked. Definately not expecting it that night. We were sealed for time and all eternity almost 4 months later on March 13, 2008. We couldn't have picked a better day. We were one of only 8 other couples there that day so we had a lot of time and I got treated like a princess! Everone was so nice! It rained quite a bit during our pictures and reception and it was pretty cold outside but I was told that rain on your wedding day is good luck! That was the best day of our lives up to this point!

I realized just after our first anniversary that people weren't kidding when they said the first year is the hardest! It definitley wasn't easy but we learned so much about each other and ourselves that it was also a great year! We got our first house in October 2008 and Nate surprised me with our first little one, Chloee a golden lab, on Christmas Day 2008. We had a lot happen our first year of marriage and knew that the years to come would bring more happenings.

We just celebrated our second anniversary. Who would have thought that our second year of marriage would have brought what it did! We were blessed with our first child, a healthy beautiful baby boy, on February 26, 2010. The day he was born was the second best day of our lives! He has already brought so much joy to our lives in the little time that we have had him.
